Our Programs

We invite you to join us for small groups, youth, children and more!

Children

Sunday During Church Service

Wyoming Park Church values kids! We have a nursery that, at this point, is not used every week, but we have volunteers waiting to tend to kids who would like to be in a space away from other adults and away from worship! That said, children are a part of worship and the giggles and occasional rants of little ones remind us of their particular space in community ensured by Jesus (Let the kids come to me. Do not hinder them, because to them belongs the Kingdom of God!)

We are in the planning stages for a kid-friendly space in the sanctuary where kids, while worship is going on, can sit, play with soft toys, draw, build, imagine! Right now Sunday School is a single class for children and youth, with curriculum appropriate to that full spectrum of ages.

Youth Group

Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

Youth meet in a large class for children and youth, every Sunday morning following worship at 11:00am. Youth group happens out on special events (like a fall Corn Maze!), or in homes for games, or on service projects, or when invited into church members’ spaces (like summer pool parties!). In all, Christ is found in the development of friendships and deepened community.

Small Groups

Sundays at 11:00 a.m.

Come as You Are! Did you catch the subtle nuances of the pastor’s sermon today? Has the week been weighing on your mind and you’re hoping for perspective and peace to tackle the next week? All are welcome following the service to tackle tough topics, celebrate joys and discern how our faith can make a difference in our lives and community.

Sunday school after service is for middle school to high school includes general topics including current events in church or the world and how they apply their faith to it with great conversations and debate. Some days the time is spent on a question one youth might raise “how do I remain faithful when I am bullied and want to lash out?”. We get real and are support youth with faith & compassion Some days it is fun and games for the entire hour but always includes snacks!
