No one is new for long at Wyoming Park Church. If you are looking for a small faith community in which you can get to know Christ and the people called “Christian” in life-changing ways, this just may be the church you have been looking for.

What We Believe

We take the Bible seriously, but not literally. We believe God has worked for us individually and collectively to do so that the community and the world begins to look just a bit more like the creation God envisioned. We believe that we are called, as the Prophet Micah says, to “do justice, love mercy, and walk in humbly before God”. We believe that we are called by God to be One in Spirit, but not necessarily one in opinion.

What to Expect

Worship is the best way to get to know us a bit. Worship happens at 10:00am each Sunday. You are welcome to come to the building at 2244 Porter St. SW, and enter the main glass doors in the back.

We are definitely a “come as you are” kind of place, so, come as you are! Pastor Barry will most likely be in jeans, a sweater, and running shoes! But, if you want to dress to the 9s, feel free!

Your presence in worship is an offering to God and to all who are present with you. There will be an opportunity to offer gifts for the work of the church, but it is absolutely fine to pass it by if you need to. Wyoming Park is a church of very different economic backgrounds, so not everyone can give financially. Yet, we all have something to give and Wyoming Park offers opportunities for all of us to offer of ourselves.

After our Sunday Morning church service, we invite you to stick around for a time of fellowship, and during the school year, you can also join our Sunday Small Groups, including Films @ 11, Come As You Are (CAYA) and Youth Group.
